Kerrang uses specific magazine features to draw attention to its audience. The first thing the audience get drawn to is the main title of this piece. This shows that the magazine is aimed at ‘younger white’ generation. This magazine comprises a range of media elements such as content language, technical code and content code to produce a really successful good magazine cover. You can see by the photos used that this magazine is aimed at rockers. This magazine easily incorporates a range of skills in order to have its effect with the reader.

The style of this magazine, with the font being used to stand out and bold, and is a bit graffiti like showing you it’s aimed at the younger generation. This magazine uses 4 main colours such as black, white, red and yellow as these work together to make this magazine stand out. The simple yet effective styles enhance the meaning of this piece. This piece also uses the normal magazine layout, and has the normal features such as a small date and issue number; a barcode and these are not the main focus point of the magazine.
