I used a number of different technologies when producing and making my magazine. These are:
Camera – this was used to take the pictures for my magazine. This means that I could include pictures in my magazine. I was able to produce and pick what pictures that I wanted to use in this magazine, and this gave me freedom to produce pictures that would fit into my magazines theme and genre.
Photoshop – I used this to produce my magazine. This was used to alter and amend photos making them more suitable for the magazine. This is a complicated program and takes a while in getting to use it. This is able to produce a magazine that look professional and has improved features comparing to the old style magazine
Microsoft word – I used this to develop designs and other features throughout the process of designing, planning and building this magazine. Is meant I had an extra copy of all my written work.
Internet (blogger) – Using this application has benefited me because it is easy to use and let me upload all my work to the internet where I can access it anywhere. Blogger has allowed me to write throughout the design, planning and building process to build my product successfully. But a disadvantage is that other people can access my work and copy similar features of it.
I learnt a lot about different shots, angles and lighting. These are all important especially when engaging with my target audience. The way a picture is constructed is important and I have learnt a lot from this process. I have also learnt a lot from using Photoshop, learning different features like the cloning tool or erasing tool. These help aid the changes and alterations to photos, making them more suitable for the magazine and making them look more idealistic for my piece.
