My Mood Board analysis


The demographic profile of my target audience for my music magazine looks like this.
The demographics of this product show that it is aimed at people aged from 17-25. This mood board incorporates all the aspects of what my target audience’s life should be like. This is a mood board showing my target audience profile, their lifestyle and shows the type of person they are. From this mood board you can see that the Psychographic profile shows that these people are aspires, and are C1, C2 and D in respect of class meaning this is a lower middle/working class; these are the people I am aiming for. The Psychographic profiles of this product shows that this magazine gives aspires the impression because of the lifestyle they are living and what they want to become. This magazine is also aimed for people more in the city and defiantly in the western world because this magazine has a more inner city lifestyle of drinking, partying and the house type. This mood board reflects the reader’s age, race, gender and sexuality showing they are a white straight male aged. This mood board shows that they like to live life, party and have a good time with mates. This mood board shows it’s a typical lad magazine because of the magazine contain in terms of content. The mood board shows this is a male who like their music because they watch a music channel they go to gigs they often drink alcohol. This shows they are aspires because of the gadgets the car and the brands reflect this. This magazine shows that this reader has got some money because they can afford to go to gigs and event and the fashion they want to achieve. There are different aspects of this mood board that will be reflected in this magazine.
This product is specially aimed at young people, this mood board represents this because the lifestyle shows that they want to go out and party and have a good time. They want all the latest gadgets and technology because they want to live a better lifestyle. This magazine portrays its audience as young single guys, who want a bit of fun in life, and aspire to become rich. From this mood board you can piece together an average day for them and can develop a deeper understanding of their type of lifestyle. The magazine corresponds to their lifestyle, and that’s why this person buys it.
This piece has a range of aspects which relates to the reader by bringing in the different elements of the target audience’s lifestyle. So from the mood board the male reader is likely to eat burgers, drink beer, and have a group of friends that he can aspire with. This links also to their lifestyle of going out and partying. The reader also likes fashion and the latest gadgets. This magazine also shows that the reader will listen to radio 1, with music by the kings of Leon. The reader of this piece also likes to watch action movies such as Inception, and watch 4 music because this is a very musically influenced person and they like the latest bands.
