This magazine uses 7 images to draw the attention of the audience and to show more of who and what this band is about. This means there is less text needed, this is also reflects who this magazine is aimed for with less text required for their lower class magazine. This main article uses a range of fonts and three main colours such as black, white and red. This will allow the reader to focus on key areas of this article and see areas that may interest them. This main article talks all about the band and all about different aspects relating to this band. This main article is on 4 A4 pages but most of it is comprised of pictures because that is the style of the magazine. The pictures used are nearly all mid-range so showing the top half of the body. The pictures used relate to the audience and to show what this band is all about. Kerrang uses these images so as the reader flicks through this will hopefully appeal to them because of the specific information. Kerrang uses this type of layout giving a little bit of writing and lots of images because this aids what the article is about and more can be said from a picture than a sentence of text. There might be only so much you can write up on a band, so Kerrang uses images in order for them to fill the page and the magazine.
